The annual Recruit Luncheon sponsored by Bill Leong, State Farm Insurance was held on February 4, 2016 at BAILEY’S PUB & GRILLE.  Coach Zohn Burden, the Running Backs Coach, presented highlight videos of VT recruits for 2016. The capacity crowd of over 70 Hokie Club members and fans got a glimpse of football skills for each of the quality student athletes who are about to become Hokies.  Coach Burden talked about each recruit and then answered questions about the new signees and the future for Va Tech football.  Hokie fans left the event well fed and excited about the next football season.  Terry Bolt from the Va Tech Athletic Fund office provided a football signed by the new coaching staff.   Funds raised from raffling the football will be used to help fulfill the Peninsula Hokie Club annual pledge to fund athletic scholarships.  Bill Bradley was the lucky winner of the football.  Thanks to Bill Leong and State Farm Insurance for sponsoring the event.
